Anyone else have really sloping ceilings that won't accomodate any storage?

Q. Our ceilings follow the shape of the gables outside so our ceiling slopes half way down our walls in the bedroom. We only have one straight wall (where the bed is) so I am at a loss as to how we will store all our clothes. The wardrobe we have now and the tall chest of drawers are all too big and will not fit under where the slope ends. The only solution we have so far is to sleep in one room and and to have the furniture along the flat wall in a different bedroom (yeah they all only have 1 flat wall).

Has anyone else managed to solve this problem? Maybe you have found some really short but wide drawers? lol. I'm getting bit stressed here, please help!

For the bed, I would build a frame w/ drawers to go under the bed. This can be kinda cool since U can go to Home Depot or Lowe's & buy wood & create Ur own 4 Poster Bed w/ Drawers underneath~ Im doing this in my kids' room.

Suni has the right Idea. Longer Dressers would b a good way to go.

I'd take measurements of the shorter in height wall & build an armoire that specially would fit there & make it somewhat deep. It'd help make that space a lil more useable than a 6' long dresser or maybe alternate the 2 along a wall.

Also, maybe pick a wall & do a build in closet so to speak. Not sure exactly how to describe it but could draw a pic of it. Then get some fabric & hooks that screw in to run from 1 wall to the other & will cover the built in closet. & then on the top area of it, U could put knik~knacks or fake plants or something.
