what color to paint my room?
Q. i am a girl, and in high school.
we are moving soon and i get a new room to decorate myself. :)
one color i know i want is hot pink, but i don't know what else.
so, i need colors that will go good with pink. (:
also, what types of furniture should i have?
the room is going to a lot bigger than my old room and i don't want it to look empty.
any other suggestions for designing a new room would be great! :D
also, where can i get some bedding? not little girl bedding but not adult bedding. teenage/college bedding.

A. I like hot pink with light pink, cream and brown. But it can work with lots of colors depending on your bedding and whether you want a calmer bedroom or a lively one. Yellow looks good with hot pink and so does lime green, orange or aqua. Buy comforter first then you can base all your accents...pillows, rugs, lamps, art, candles, etc. on that. Maybe something here will inspire you:

When Should i start buying things ?
Q. I will be 15 weeks Pregnant tomorrow & I haven't bought anything for the baby yet, I am due April 15 2011 . So when should I start buying things I don't know what I'm havinq and should I start with Clothes or Equipment?
A. I was 16 weeks this past sunday (Thursday now). The only things we have been buying are neutral clothes, any good sales we couldn't avoid. There was a community pool where they had a huge sale on tons of kids and baby clothes as cheap as a quater a piece, couldn't avoid that. We bought lots of nuetral things but couldn't help buying a really cute outfit for a girl for a dollar fifty and a pack of fifty pairs of boys socks for three dollars. Wasn't a waste no matter what I was having.
I went to a 3D ultrasound last night and found out I'm having a girl. I wanted a boy but HOW could you be dissapointed?! The 3d ultrasound is SO cool and they can find out up to two weeks before a regular ultrasound. I'm not scheduled for the anatomy ultrasound at my OB's office until the first but wanted to know as soon as possible. At the 3d ultrasound place too if they CANT find out the sex you come back free until they can.
We went out last night and bought some cute clothes for a girl. As far as furniture and things we haven't started yet, as I want to redo the bedroom that is going to be the nursery and I have to figure out color schemes and all that first. Everyone in my family is aware however that if they pass any great sales on diapers to stock up, I don't believe you can ever have too many diapers too early. :)
I'm picking out a color for the walls and then the color furniture I want and then I'll probably start looking. There is no need to rush but also I don't want to be caught up last minute trying to do everything. I WANT to buy everything NOW but then I think its just going to make the wait that much longer.
