I have a 3 month old kitten that suckles and kneads on me ,my blanket?
Q. I have a 3 month old male kitten that I feel like I am playing hide and seek with I wake up in the middle of the night and he is suckling and kneading on my neck, arm leg anything exposed. I cannot lock him out of the bedroom it's an open loft bedroom. Help I am going to end up with kitten hickeys LOL.
A. He is telling you two things: 1) That you rank right up there with Mom, which is the greatest compliment a cat can tell you and 2) that it is playtime. This is a hard one. A misbehaving cat can get a spray from a water bottle, but this little guy is guilty of love, and you cannot punish him out of it, because, well, that would just be unthinkable.
You need to offer him something more appealing than your neck, more Mom-like, so Mom-like that your neck won't do anymore. You need to give him fur, a nice piece of real fur.
Ikea has a sheepskin (meant to be used as a rug) for $19.99 here in NYC, maybe less where you live. I would buy one of those, and go to bed without bathing, so you are highly scented with your own scent, and sleep right on it all night the first night you own it. Transfer your scent to it.
Then the next night, put it right up by your head, maybe on the next pillow, when you go to bed. If he still wakes you up nursing on you, reach over and pull the fur over your body part and put him on it. Once you have his scent and your scent on this little piece of heaven, he will choose the fur.
I don't know how this sounds to you, but it really will work. You have never seen profound contentment until you have seen a cat or kitten on a piece of real fur. They will walk on it by accident, and just s-t-o-p, and collapse and not move for hours and hours. I am not kidding you.
Don't let it be available to him during the day or at any other time than when you are in bed. Put it out for him when you go to bed. If he satisfies his fur-lust during the day or at any other time, he may start nursing off you again at night. If and when it works, after a while, you may be able to move it into his bed or down to the foot of your bed, or wherever you might prefer him to sleep.
This actually is normal kitten behavior, but it definitely carries over into adulthood in modified form, and if you divert his behavior onto a sheepskin now, he will not cause you any further difficulty.
By the way, the sheepskins are machine washable in Woolite and cold water, and if line dried in the sun, will be disinfected by the UV rays of sunlight. So they are no trouble to clean.

With that many kids, things will never be perfect, but the best way to be organized is to make sure that everything has a place. That way it can always be returned once it is used.
Additionally, teach your children from a young age to pick up after themselves and to clean up before they switch from one thing to another. Never go to bed with a messy home and it will become a habit.

Q. So I just moved, and I really want to start decorating my room, seeing as my birthday is coming up and I'll be getting some spending money for my room. (: I looked on Ikea, but I really don't like their furniture. Same with Macy's and Bed, Bath, & Beyond. What are some other good places to get furniture, mostly a desk, a new bed set, and a set of drawers o put my clothes in? Black furniture is preferable. Thanks !
