I am looking to re-do the computer room for my boyfriend, and I am trying to locate wallpaper for the bottom 3 feet of the room that looks like a football field. Any suggestions?
I am trying to give him a "football" themed room.

Birthday party ideas for a 6 year old and friends in a small apartment!?

questioner
My son is turning 6 soon and I can't really afford to take him to a gaming/pizza place this year, because he wants to invite friends. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment that's barely 1000 sq ft, so I am CLUELESS as to what kinds of entertainment to provide these kidos! I've never thrown a birthday party before where we had other guests than close family, so it makes me nervous! Please help with ANY ideas possible...thank you!

My friend just invited us over last night for a "sleep over" but we didn't sleep over. She asked me to bring my kids over for a 'sleep over" pizza party and to watch a movie. The kids went in their pj's, we took sleeping bags. The kids ate pizza, she put the movie on, gave them popcorn and some juice boxes to watch the movie. We went home around 8. It is a cute idea, the kids didn't really watch the movie, they played and made alot of noise but had alot of fun and were ready for bed when we got home. If you have a tent...that could be fun if there arent many kids. it could be fun or a disaster...lol.
YOu could have his party at a park. you don't have to rent space...just go early, get a few picnic tables, put plastic table cloths and a few balloons on the tables. Order pizza to be delivered. Have a piniata, you can hang it from a tree...or make up a scavenger hunt. have the kids find differnt colored leaves, pine cones, acorn, white rock. a bird...give them each a list to collect some stuff. Its a playground so they will have fun playing. bring a ball and play kick ball...or football, soccer.
If it has to be in your apartment..do you have the wii? that always keeps kid busy. you could have that going. and have some board games or some type of craft that 6 year old boys may like.\
At 6 the parents usually want to stay if they dont' know you well so..the park may be your best option. My son is 7 and every party we have gone to most all parents stay. Maybe one doesn't and they are talked about...lol.
You could save money....if you had the kids over to your apartment for hot dogs(cheap) some snacks, juice and cake, then pay for them to get into a jumpyhouse place or go bowling. This way you will not be paying the fee for a party at a "place" just going to have fun. So your house for 1-1.5 hours then go to the "place"(most of the parents will have to stay to drive there kids but..most will choose to anyway) better to have them at your house before...they get really hypo after being together for a few hours. We have gone to a few of these kinds of parties and the kids really had fun. The ice breaker is your house and they get really excited to go bowling or to a jumpy house place. At this age a jumpy house place would be ideal...its always lots of fun.
