Hey! :) I'm re-doing my room and I need new ideas ! But my budget is really tight ! :( I only have 30 dollars! So it would be better if I could make some bedroom accessories out of house hold items! Plz answer as soon as possible ! Thank u <3

There are great things that can be made from random things you can find. I am a college kid that is getting my first apartment so I am also on a very tight budget as I am also financing all of my education on my own. I have searched garage sales and estate sales in particular. A lot of times add a coat of paint and they are wonderful. Also, I have found that the DIY section and the home decor section of Pinterest have millions of ideas. If you do not already have a pinterest, it is super easy to set up just by going to www.pinterest.com and it is completely free with everything you could imagine pretty much. In the sources the third one has some different ideas for cheap bedroom do it yourselves. Hope this helps!

i need to make renovations to my house and wondering if anyone knows approximately what costs i am looking at.?

Basement occasionally leaks but not bad. we have asbestos wrapped pipes in the basement which i want to get rid of. also, we have a boiler system in the house which is costing us 600 a month in the winter to heat our 1400 sqft house.. would love to remove the boiler and radiators and put forced air heat but there are also no ducts. i need to add an additional bedroom. preferrably 2 of them. nothing extravagent. just your normal kids bedroom.any idea about cost?

First - don't touch the asbestos piping... get a professional to get in there and remove it. This is not a DIY project Asbestos particles can fly into the air and get into your longs exposing you to it if you don't do it correctly... this can be VERRRYYYY dangerous. This is especially important since you're making it a room for your little ones....!
I would install a floor in the basement, maybe rubber since you say it occasionally leaks. Rubber is a great, clean, eco floor and is a kid friendly floor as well (don't think big black rubber... think rubber with designs on it, thats looks like other types of flooring - not boring, very cool actually) Here's some info:

Also once you figure out what kind of floor to put down use the flooring calculator:http://www.findanyfloor.com/OnlineTools.xhtml and see how much it will cost you depending on much you'll be covering and what type of material you'll be using... this will be a bigger expense than other things... factor in the asbestos expert to come in and remove the piping, and donate the appliances if possible...
