Teens: DIY bedroom decorating HELP????!!!!!?

Q. So I have had my room decorated the same since I was a young girl. Now I am trying to make it more me by hanging up pictures, re-arranging furniture etc I cant repaint or buy new furniture or anything like that. So far I added a huge collage of pictures and quotes on one of my walls. Are there any other things I could do to make my room be more me and less little kid-ish?

A. First of all, I think the sheets idea is awesome and looks really cool, but just make sure they aren't anywhere that makes them a fire hazard. Maybe pbteen.com could help you with ideas of arrangement and decorating of the room. Also, I found this picture of putting glow balls inside stockings and hanging them from the ceiling which would be really cool with the sheets thing. http://pinterest.com/pin/71916925269898869/ Another idea could be laminating flowers or something to put on your wall (idk my sister did it). A. To be honest the whole sheets on the ceiling with collages and christmas lights is really really tacky. Why don't you save up and get new bedding and curtains? Ones that you really like, then make/buy a print or painting with a similar colour or theme and hang that up. Painting simple things like lamps or tables is also a good way to refresh your room.
