Answer
the best idea I have seen so far is to put the older boys in the small room and out the 2 younger ones in with you.
We have 3 kids and 2 bedrooms. When the older two were younger we had them together and we took the other room. our youngest (now 30 months) was in our room until he was over a year old. When he was about 15 months old we moved down to the laundry room. my oldest son (12 ) kept the "kids" room, and my daughter (8) and my son (2) share the room that used to be ours. In a few years we will switch the 2 year old into the room with our older son. If we started out with the 2 boys together we would have had all kinds of complaints. my daughter would have complained becasue she didn't get to share her room at all, and my oldest would have complained that he had to share. this way they both have to share. I figure it is better to put a boy and girl in together while they are young. By the time she is 10, my daughter will be ready for some privacy. My son can just deal with having a roomate until he turns 18

Sleeping arangements among kids?
CTLifeLong
My husband and I are adopting an 8 year old boy and I get visitation of my 2 kids (boy and girl) from a previous marriage every summer for 2 months. Is it legal for the girl to sleep in the same room as me and her step dad on an air mattress for that time while the two boys are in a seperate bedroom?
Answer
I'm sure it's legally ok, but you want to make sure your daughter is ok with the idea of staying in your bedroom. You don't want her to feel uncomfortable and she needs some space of her own. Maybe she would be better off in the living room or at least try to give her a little spot somewhere that belongs to her.
