Bedroom ideas please?
Jessikah
I recently obtained my own bedroom. I'm 14 (I know, that fact pushes away a lot of people) and I was thinking about getting a lofted bed to where I'd put my own desk underneath it. All I wanted to know is would that be to little kid-ish? If so, what would I go with other than that (keep in mind my rooms not very big)? Please help and thank you in advance!

I have a loft bed now (I'm 14) and honestly I wish I didnt (even though I get so much extra storage) because it gets annoying with the ladder especially when I drop somethig. It also sucks when you're sick because it's stuffy.
For you I'd either get a regular bed and put it against the wall and shove the desk in the corner.
I lift bed is good if you don't have any other room but I'd go against it

Toy storage ideas for kid's room?

We have a couple of full-sized book shelves in our living room, the bottom two shelves of each which have been devoted to toy storage. My 4 1/2 year old has enough space in his bedroom to accommodate them all now, and since his friends that come over are old enough to play in his room with out needing constant adult supervision, I want to shift most of those toys into his room. What do you use for toy storage in your kid's rooms? My first thoughts are to pick up a couple of the tupperware-esq drawers, or a utility type shelving unit, but both are pretty bad aesthetically speaking and a bit ghetto. Should I be looking for a deep book shelf instead? What do you use?

My sons only 12 weeks so no need for this yet but when my little sister was 2 she had so many toys there was no space to do anything. My mum got her a huge treasure chest sort of thing, like a dressing up box. They can be quite expensive but it makes the house so much tidier and allows everything to be in one place and then they can get as they please. Here's an example..
