Bedroom design help! need ideas?

I'm a teenage girl and I want to redo my bedroom. I can't think of any ideas. I know I don't want my walls blue though. I want just a simple room that isn't too girly has has room on the walls to hang up my paintings. If you have any ideas or opinions, they would be appreciated. Thanks!

Ok so I'm redoing my room and I need affordable ideas. My room is 13 x 14 and I need a design that will work with that. I have a full size bed and I'm open to any ideas that are for teenage girls!

Since kids are going off to college soon, Wal*Mart has some real cheap, but real cute things for dorms which also works in a room. I just got the coolest zebra print bedspread for like 34$, go check it out(:
