How can I make my small bedroom look really cool?

I have a really really small bedroom and I want to make it look cool. I don't want to spend much money either. Any tips or suggestions?

I love re-making my two sons' rooms. You can do a pirate theme, skateboard theme, stars/universe, or really anything you're into. First, paint it, if you can. You can find super-cheap paint in the mistints section of wal-mart, or you can buy any color you want there for a pretty low price (the paint supplies are cheap, too.
That already changes the whole room. I painted one room all pitch black and bout glow-in-the-dark stars for $2 at Walmart and it looks AWESOME.
You can also find pretty low-priced decor at dollar stores and Michaels (look for clearance), and you can paint wood cutouts, etc., however you like. Ask relatives for other stuff for your birthday & holidays, and over time, it will look great. We make low-cost custom beds for kids, too.

You could go to a furniture store that sells chest. They have lots of room to stash all your magazines, videos, whips, & toys. Look for one that matches your decor style, but also has a good lock on the front. If the lock looks cheaply made, look up a lock smith. They may be able to upgrade or customize one on a chest for you aswell... just an idea
