Can I keep a ceiling fan in the room where baby sleeps?
Q. The baby is 8 days old and sleeping in a bassinet next to my side of the bed. Our room gets very hot so we installed a ceiling fan and keep a regular portable fan on the floor outside the bedroom door, blowing in. I keep the ceiling fan on the low setting so it isn't spinning wildly and creating lots of wind, but I get concerned it will be too cold for her ?
A. yes you can use a ceiling fan. Don't have it blow directly on the kid and you'll be ok
Where can I find a quiet fan for the bedroom?
Q. We just moved into a really great apartment - the only problem, upstairs is HOT! We would like to get a fan for the bedrooms, but they all seem so loud or like they wont move the air very well - is it possible to get a good bedroom fan that is quiet enough to hear the kids, tv and your conversation? (Ceiling fans are out because it's an apartment.)
A. GO TO HOME DEPOT it is the best place for quiet fans.
I came home from work today to discover that 1/2 of my power was out...?
Q. in the BEDROOM only! My side of the room works, but my husbands side of the room doesn't (and our overhead ceiling fan/light fixture is out). The rest of the house is fine, our electric oven and our dryer both work. We flipped the ciruit breaker, but nothing happened. I called the local power comapny and they said that we have the right amount of electricity coming into the house. Before i call a costly electrician, is there anything I might be able to do to trouble shoot this problem?
A. This same thing happened to me last month!!!! No kidding.
In my case some workers were replacing siding on the outside of the building and they damaged an electrical line. Has anyone done any work on the house recently? I suppose a rodent could have damaged an electrical line as well. Think about this.
Now, metaphysically it is very interesting that half the power is out in your bedroom based on another question you posted recently. Hmmmmm.....
